Life coaching is a practice with the stated aim of helping clients determine and achieve personal goals.
When I was in financial services, I always coached my clients to feel fulfilled in life. By maintaining this enthusiasm for life, they enjoyed personal success which directly fuelled my enjoyment of helping others.
Life coaching has roots in executive coaching, which itself draws on techniques developed in management consulting and leadership training. Life coaching also draws inspiration from disciplines including sociology, psychology, positive adult development, career counselling, mentoring, and other types of counselling.
What is life-coaching?
Good question. It is finding your true path with the guidance a life coach offers. A coach helps you to plot the route. If you should go wrong, the coach gently brings you back to yoru chosen path. Once chosen you can restructure your route with your coach's help. Your path, like your life, remains totally flexible, subject to your choice and guidance from your coach.
Is life-coaching real?
Yes.
An ideal society would allow individuals to fully achieve their potential through creating opportunities and receiving the advice and support of family and friends.
However, I believe that our modern society falls short of being perfect and in my life I have met and helped too many people to believe all people are happy in their isolation.
If we were able to harness our potential and realise our hopes, would we be happier than we are now?
If the answer is yes, then we MUST find a way of determining that route.
My job is to help you on that journey.
Whatis business coaching?
That is a little more complex. It is coaching of all the people involved in your business. From the president to the security guard. Its aim is to get all the people pulling in the same direction so that your business grows in leaps and bounds so to speak. Imagine no strikes, no disputes, no difference of opinions. everybody working towards the same goal. How fantastic is that. I am sure you can well imagine the dream translating to reality. Zero waste. That would be some success! It is possible in my experience.
